About The Client:
Client is a life insurance company in India. The firm offers life insurance products targeted at individuals and groups, catering to four distinct segments: protection, children, retirement and investment plans.
About The Job:
- We are looking for an experiencedGeneral Manager to lead and drive business growth across multiple branches in the Agency Channel.
- The candidate will be responsible for managing 2–4 Branch Managers, achieving overall business targets, expanding the agency distribution network, and ensuring strong sales productivity and profitability across assigned branches.
Essential Job Functions:
- Lead and manage 2–4 Branch Managers to achieve business targets across assigned branches.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive life insurance sales and revenue growth.
- Drive agency recruitment, advisor activation, productivity, and retention.
- Monitor branch-wise performance, premium targets, business conversion, and policy persistency.
- Guide Branch Managers in business planning, execution, and team development.
- Build a strong agency network through recruitment of quality advisors and sales professionals.
- Conduct regular business reviews and performance assessments with Branch Managers.
- Identify business opportunities and implement strategies to improve branch productivity.
- Ensure compliance with IRDAI guidelines, company policies, and operational standards.
- Drive customer satisfaction, renewal premium collection, and long-term business sustainability.
- Develop leadership capabilities within the branch management team.
- Coordinate with regional and zonal leadership to achieve organizational objectives.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 14+ years of experience in the Life Insurance industry.
- Strong experience in the Agency Channel is essential.
- Proven track record of managing multiple branches and leading Branch Managers.
- Strong understanding of agency recruitment, advisor activation, sales productivity, and business development.
- Excellent leadership, strategic planning, analytical, and team management skills.
- Ability to drive business growth across multiple locations.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making abilities.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experienced insurance leader with expertise in Agency Sales and Distribution Management.
- Strong capability in driving branch performance, advisor productivity, and revenue growth.
- Demonstrated success in team leadership, coaching, and developing Branch Managers.
- Results-oriented professional with strong business acumen and customer-centric approach.
