General Accountant

Job Summary

The General Accountant will be responsible for processing and managing all financial data and transactions according to the company financial procedures. He/she will be based in Nozha, Cairo.

Responsibilities

• Generating and handling invoices

• Track the timely collection of payments and follow up on overdue invoices

• Update billing systems, resolving any discrepancies

• Manage all financial transactions (payable/receivable) related to the assigned branch according to financial procedures

• Monitoring customer accounts and linking them with invoices

• Handling receivables from other dealers/distributors

• Generating monthly accounts status and reports

• Carry out periodical inventory inspection to ensure correct and accurate balance

• Calculating collections performance, and customer aging reports

• Assist in end-of-month and year-closing tasks

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Finance or Accounting

• Previous 3-5 years of experience in an accounting position

• Very good knowledge in Excel

• Good oral and written communication skills
