Technical Product Manager

About the Role

We are looking for aSenior Technical Program Manager with a strong technical engineering background and proven experience leading complex technology programs from inception to delivery.

The ideal candidate will have started their career in a hands-on technical role such asSoftware Engineering, QA Engineering, Development, or a similar technical discipline, and subsequently moved into technical program management.

This role requires someone who can operate at bothtechnical and program leadership levels — understanding architecture and engineering discussions, while also driving governance, delivery, dependencies, risks, and executive decision-making across multiple teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead complex technical programs frominception through delivery, ensuring alignment with business and technical objectives.
• Ownprogram governance, delivery frameworks, milestones, risks, and overall execution.
• Take ownership ofcross-team dependencies and proactively resolve blockers.
• Facilitate executive-level discussions and supportdata-driven technical and delivery decisions.
• Provide technical leadership and maintain a strong understanding ofsolution architecture, engineering practices, and technical dependencies.
• Partner closely with Engineering, QA, Architecture, Product, and other technical teams to ensure successful program delivery.
• Drive technical program planning, prioritization, execution, and continuous improvement.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and delivery challenges early and implement effective mitigation strategies.
• Lead cross-functional teams across multiple projects and workstreams.
• Establish and monitor program KPIs, delivery metrics, and progress against objectives.
• Communicate program status, risks, dependencies, and key decisions to senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
• Operate effectively in fast-paced and ambiguous environments, making sound decisions and driving resolution.
  

• 6+ years of experience in Technical Program Management, Technical Project Management, or a similar technical delivery leadership role.
• Strong technical background, ideally having started a career inSoftware Engineering, QA Engineering, Development, or another technical engineering discipline.
• Proven professional experience managingtechnical programs from inception to delivery in a senior role.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, engineering practices, and technical architectures.
• Ability to understand and confidently discusstechnical concepts, architecture, integrations, dependencies, and engineering challenges with technical teams.
• Strong expertise in Agile methodologies and delivery frameworks such asScrum and Kanban.
• Proven experience inprogram governance and cross-functional delivery.
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
• Ability to facilitate executive decisions and communicate complex technical topics clearly to senior leadership.
• Proven ability to managecross-team dependencies across multiple projects and workstreams.
• Strong risk identification, mitigation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Experience with project/program management tools such asJira and Azure DevOps.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional technical teams in complex and dynamic environments.
• Strong understanding of technical program delivery, architecture ownership, and engineering best practices.
• Comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-paced environments and driving initiatives with limited direction.
• Bachelor’s degree inComputer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field preferred.
• Relevant technical, Agile, or program management certifications are a plus.
