GCP DevOps Engineer

About The Job:

• We are looking for a highly skilledGCP DevOps Engineer with expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), CI/CD automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), containerization, Kubernetes, and cloud operations.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and automated cloud environments while supporting application deployments, cloud modernization initiatives, and operational excellence.

Essential Job Functions:

• Design, implement, and manage DevOps solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application deployment and infrastructure provisioning.
• Automate cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Deploy and manage containerized workloads using Kubernetes and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
• Implement monitoring, logging, and observability solutions for production environments.
• Ensure cloud security, compliance, governance, and operational standards are consistently maintained.
• Optimize cloud infrastructure for scalability, reliability, availability, and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams to streamline software delivery and DevOps processes.
• Manage source code repositories, branching strategies, release management, and deployment workflows.
• Perform root-cause analysis, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and incident resolution.
• Support cloud migration, application modernization, and automation initiatives.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, standard operating procedures, and architecture diagrams.

• Experience supporting enterprise-scale production environments.
• Knowledge of cloud migration, infrastructure automation, and container orchestration.
• Excellent troubleshooting, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
