GCP Data Engineer with Java

Role : GCP Data Engineer with Java

Location : Charlotte NC (Onsite)

Rate : $55/hr. (Max Rate)

Year of exp ; 5 to 7 years

• Develop scalable, secure data pipelines from on-premises systems of record to Google Cloud Platform services (BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Composer).
• Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
• Build and maintain high-quality, high-performance, scalable software
• Develop transformation libraries in Python/Beam (e.g., common SCD patterns, data quality checks, masking/tokenization routines).
• Design, develop and maintain high-performance Java based applications
• Experience in Java Application Development, Multi-threading, Spring, SQL.
• Strong knowledge of Java (Java 8 or later) Spring framework and RESTful APIs
• Familiarity with Microservices architecture and cloud platforms
• Hands-on experience with DevOps tools (Gradle, CI/CD, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
• Exposure to Kafka/Google Pubsub for real time data processing
• Document and demonstrate solutions by writing documentation, diagrams, and code comments
• Collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Support ongoing data management efforts for Development, QA and Production environments
• Leverage knowledge of industry trends to build best in class technology to provide competitive advantage.
