Cloud Platform: Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

Experience: 10+ Years in Infrastructure/Cloud Engineering
Architecture Experience: 5+ Years in Cloud Architecture
We are looking for an experienced Senior Cloud Architect to design and define an enterprise-scale GCP foundation and network architecture that supports scalable, secure, and repeatable regional expansion.
The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in GCP networking, multi-region landing zones, hybrid connectivity, security, identity, and shared platform services.
Key Responsibilities
Review existing GCP foundation and network architecture and identify scalability bottlenecks.
Design dedicated VPCs for core services and define product vs. infrastructure VPC strategies.
Establish reusable, tag-based regional firewall policies.
Design standardized connectivity using Cloud Interconnect and HA VPN.
Define shared platform services for DNS, PKI, Active Directory, secrets management, images, logging, and metrics.
Develop reference architectures, architecture decision records, and regional onboarding runbooks.
Lead architecture reviews and collaborate with security, networking, platform, and application teams.
Mentor engineers and drive technical direction across teams.
Required Technical Skills
GCP Networking: Shared VPC, VPC Peering, Cloud Router, Cloud Interconnect, HA VPN, hierarchical firewall policies, network tags, and secure tags.
Cloud Foundation: Enterprise-scale, multi-region landing zones and scalable cloud architecture.
DNS amp; Hybrid Connectivity: Cloud DNS, private zones, forwarding, peering, and hybrid name resolution.
PKI amp; Certificates: Google Certificate Authority Service (CAS), enterprise CA hierarchies, and certificate lifecycle management.
Identity amp; Security: Active Directory trust models, federation, IAM, and secure access patterns.
Secrets Management: HashiCorp Vault and Google Secret Manager.
Infrastructure as Code: Terraform and CI/CD-driven provisioning.
Architecture amp; Leadership: Technical documentation, design reviews, stakeholder communication, and mentoring.
Ideal Candidate Profile10+ years of infrastructure or cloud engineering experience.
At least 5 years in a cloud architecture role.
Strong hands-on GCP networking and architecture expertise.
Proven experience designing enterprise-grade, multi-region cloud foundations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presenting to technical leadership.
