PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESĀ
Completes account reconciliations, such as bank reconciliations, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and other accounts for real estate, private equity, and venture capital funds.Ā
Prepares financial statements and required work papers to support the financial statements.Ā
Processes transactions which may include accounts payable/cashdisbursements processing, accounts receivable/cash receipts processing and payroll processing/coordination.Ā
Prepares and monitors capital calls and distribution notices to limited partners.Ā
Prepares limited partner capital/investor statements.Ā
Preparesmanagement fee calculations as well asexpense allocations between funds.Ā
Identifies client issues concerninggenerally accepted accounting principles (FASB / SFAS), specifically related to investment companies.Ā
Develops andmaintains a thorough working knowledge of accounting software packages.Ā
Focuses efforts on managing work and key client relationships to exceed client expectations.Ā
Expands industry knowledge through greater exposure to peers, clients, regular self-study, and formal training opportunities.Ā
Ā
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSĀ
Working towards the achievement of abachelorās degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field ā Degree in Accounting or Financestrongly preferred.Ā Ā
General knowledge of accounting principles and reporting of financial data.Ā
Willingness to learnnew technologies.Ā
Proficient with Microsoft (MS) Windows and Office products.Ā
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to client sites.Ā

The compensation range for this position in Minnesota is: $27.00 to $31.00
