Functional Tester

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze business and functional requirements to understand testing needs.
• Prepare test scenarios, test cases, and test data based on requirements.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
• Identify, document, and track defects through the defect lifecycle.
• Perform defect retesting and regression testing after fixes.
• Validate application functionality against business requirements.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Prepare and maintain test execution reports and testing documentation.
• Support overall quality assurance activities throughout the software development lifecycle.

Required Skills:

• 6+ years of experience in Functional Testing.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and processes.
• Experience in test case design, execution, and defect management.
• Good knowledge of functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
