Lead Technology That Advances Justice
We are looking for a technology leader who can lead people, own enterprise applications, deliver major technology projects, and turn operational challenges into scalable solutions.
The Information Systems Manager will help shape how one of Georgia's busiest constitutional offices uses technology, data, automation, and artificial intelligence to improve court operations, customer service, and access to justice.
This is not a traditional IT support management role. It is an opportunity to influence technology strategy while leading the people and systems that deliver it.
What You'll Own
Enterprise Applications Â
Lead application administration, configuration, integrations, APIs, upgrades, testing, releases, enhancements, and application roadmaps.
Technical Team Leadership Â
Supervise technical staff, establish priorities and performance expectations, manage workload and accountability, coach employees, and strengthen cross-training and team capacity.
Projects & Modernization Â
Lead enterprise implementations from planning through go-live, including requirements, scope, schedules, risks, vendors, testing, training, change management, and operational readiness.
Technology Operations Â
Drive system reliability, application support, incident escalation, ticket management, root-cause analysis, change control, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
AI, Automation & Data Â
Identify responsible opportunities for AI and automation, develop dashboards and performance measures, support SQL-based analysis, and use data to improve operations and decision-making.
Business & Vendor Partnerships Â
Partner with executives, operational teams, County IT, justice partners, and vendors to translate business needs into technology solutions and hold partners accountable for results.
Knowledge & Adoption Â
Strengthen technical documentation, SOPs, knowledge transfer, training, and technology adoption across the Office.
Â
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Information Systems, Public Administration, or a closely related field.
Â
- Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in one or more of the following: enterprise application management, IT leadership, technical staff supervision, project management, business analysis, enterprise software implementation, vendor management, technology operations, or data analytics and reporting.
Â
- Three (3) years of lead or supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with technical team leadership, court or justice technology, Tyler Technologies applications, enterprise implementations, SQL, Microsoft Power Platform, AI and automation, APIs and integrations, business process improvement, change management, public-sector technology, technology procurement, vendor management, disaster recovery, or business continuity is preferred.
Â
- PMP, ITIL, Lean Six Sigma, Certified Scrum Product Owner, Microsoft, or related certifications are highly desirable.
The Impact
Success in this role means building a stronger technical team, delivering major technology initiatives, improving system reliability, strengthening vendor accountability, reducing recurring problems, expanding useful data and automation, and positioning technology as a strategic partner to court operations.
If you can move comfortably between leading a technical team, solving an enterprise application issue, managing a major implementation, advising executives, and challenging a vendor to deliver, we want to hear from you.
