Job Summary

Cognizant is seeking a highly skilled Full-Stack Software Engineer to support Cisco's Cloud Licensing Platform. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in building scalable cloud-native applications and developing robust front-end and back-end solutions. This role involves working closely with product managers, architects, and engineering teams to deliver secure, high-performing applications that support Cisco's enterprise licensing ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications for Cisco's Cloud Licensing Platform.
• Build responsive user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular.
• Develop scalable backend services and APIs using Java, Spring Boot, or Node.js.
• Design and implement microservices-based architectures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical design sessions.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and support cloud deployments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues while ensuring system uptime.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in Full-Stack development.
• Hands-on experience with React, Angular, or similar front-end frameworks.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, or equivalent backend technologies.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and Microservices architecture.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized applications.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with cloud licensing, subscription management, or SaaS platforms.
• Familiarity with Cisco technologies and enterprise environments.
• Knowledge of security best practices for cloud-native applications.
• Experience with observability tools such as Splunk, Grafana, or Prometheus.
• Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible) is a plus.
