Full Stack Python AI Engineer

Location: within 50 miles of  Jersey City, NJ - 3 days on site mandatory in a week

Pay Range: $65-$70/Hr. Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2 from Day 1

About the Role We are seeking an automation-first, security-conscious Full Stack Python AI Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between advanced language models and user-facing applications, building robust chatbot, copilot, and agent workflows. You will take ownership of the full software lifecycle—planning, designing, developing, and releasing software—while ensuring enterprise compliance and uncompromised product quality.

What You Will Do

• Drive the planning, design, development, testing, execution, and communication of end-to-end software releases.

• Collaborate closely with development peers and business stakeholders to understand the book of work and lead development efforts.

• Build and integrate API-driven UI and reusable UI components/SDKs.

• Create and maintain highly effective unit testing coverage for all developed code.

• Ensure all software releases strictly adhere to enterprise and regulatory compliance standards without compromising on quality.

Required Experience & Skills

• 3+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.

• Frontend Core: Deep expertise in React + TypeScript (mandatory) and Next.js.

• Backend & AI Core: Strong proficiency in Python with specific experience in LLM and agent development.

• AI/LLM Frameworks: Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, Google Agent SDK, or AutoGen (TypeScript SDKs).

• Applied AI: Proven track record of building chatbot/copilot interfaces or agent workflows, including hands-on experience with RAG and tool-based agents.

• Real-time UI: Experience implementing streaming UI via WebSockets or Server-Sent Events (SSE).

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced expertise in Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), prompt engineering, and LLM tool calling.

• Familiarity with data storage and caching solutions: ClickHouse, MongoDB, Redis.

• Experience with containerization and orchestration platforms: OpenShift, Kubernetes (K8s).
