Full Stack Engineer

We're looking for aFull Stack Engineer to join our CMS team, building the APIs and interfaces that power tools helping shape healthcare policy for millions of Americans.

What you'll be doing:

• Build and maintain user interfaces usingReact andTypeScript
• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs inGo
• Consume and interact withGraphQL APIs viaApollo Client
• Collaborate across frontend and backend to shape data endpoints and API contracts
• Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code that other engineers enjoy working with
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and Agile ceremonies
• Ensure interfaces meet federal accessibility standards includingSection 508 andWCAG

What you’ll bring:

• Hands-on experience withReact andTypeScript on the frontend
• Experience building backend services inGo
• Experience withGraphQL andApollo Client
• Solid understanding of API design and how frontend and backend systems interact
• Familiarity withDocker,Git, andCypress or similar testing frameworks
• Experience withPostgreSQL or similar relational databases is a plus
• Comfortable working in a federal or regulated environment
• Thrives in a remote, collaborativeAgile environment and genuinely enjoys working closely with a cross-functional team
• Communicates clearly and openly, whether in a code review or a conversation with a non-technical stakeholder
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. In alignment with federal contract requirements, certain roles may also require U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a federal background investigation and/or a security clearance.

Compensation:

At Oddball, it’s important each employee is compensated competitively and fairly. In alignment with state legal requirements. A range for the included position is listed below. Be advised, actual offer details are determined by job category, job location, and candidate skill level.

United States Wage Range: $100,000 – $135,000
