Software & DevOps Engineer – Senior

Location: Dallas/Irving, TX
Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 3 days per week onsite at the client office
Contract Duration: 6+ months, with a strong possibility of extension based on performance

Job Overview

We are seeking aSenior Software & DevOps Engineer with strong hands-on experience inGo (Golang), Java, JavaScript, and Python to design, develop, secure, and maintain enterprise-level applications and platforms.

The ideal candidate will have a strong software engineering background combined withDevSecOps, CI/CD, cloud-native development, containerization, and Secure Development Lifecycle (SDL) experience. This individual will play a key role in strengthening software supply chain security and promoting secure development practices throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

Experience within theBanking, Capital Markets, or Cybersecurity domains is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Software Engineering

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable enterprise-grade software applications usingGo, Java, JavaScript, and Python.

• Develop secure, cloud-native applications using modern software engineering practices.

• Design and implementmicroservices, distributed systems, APIs, and scalable application architectures.

• Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to architecture and technology decisions.

• Conduct and participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, performance, and security.

• Evaluate and integrate appropriate open-source technologies and frameworks.

• Troubleshoot complex application and production issues and implement sustainable solutions.

DevSecOps & CI/CD

• Design, implement, and optimizeCI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab.

• Integrate automated security testing and quality checks into CI/CD pipelines.

• Implement automatedcode scanning, vulnerability scanning, dependency analysis, and security testing.

• Develop automation to support continuous integration, testing, deployment, and secure software releases.
