Associate/Senior Associate, Application Developer(ReactJS Frontend Developer), Consumer Banking Group Technology

Roles & Responsibilities

• Strong hands-on experience with React 17, 18, and 19, including Functional Components, Hooks, Component Design Patterns, Performance Optimization, and Modern React Architecture

• Strong understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, Problem Solving, UI Performance Optimization, and Software Engineering Principles

• Experience building modern React applications using SPA Architecture, Styled Components/CSS-in-JS, Responsive and Accessible UI Design, API Integration, SSR concepts, and Component-Driven Development

• Proven experience with Micro Frontend (MFE) architecture using Module Federation and independent deployment models

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), Frontend Design Patterns, SOLID Principles, and Clean Code Practices.

• Hands-on experience with state management frameworks such as Redux, Redux Saga, Zustand, and Context API

• Strong knowledge of UI performance optimization techniques, including Lazy Loading, Code Splitting, Bundle Optimization, and Web Vitals

• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and automation testing tools such as Jest, Playwright, and React Testing Library

• Proficiency with modern SDLC and DevOps tools, including Git/Bitbucket, NPM/Yarn/PNPM, Jenkins, SonarQube, Nexus, and JIRA

• Experience with frontend deployment and hosting architectures, including CDN, Cloudflare (preferred), Apache, Nginx, OpenShift (OCP), and web package deployment strategies

• Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as AppDynamics, ELK, or equivalent frontend monitoring solutions

• Familiarity with AngularJS and migration of AngularJS applications to React is a strong advantage

• Exposure to iOS/Android native or hybrid mobile applications (native shell with React.js) and troubleshooting across web and mobile platforms is a plus

• Strong automation, communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.

AI-Assisted Development & Engineering Productivity(GenAI)

• Experience using Generative AI-powered software development tools to improve engineering productivity and code quality, such as Gemini CLI, Claude Code, and Claude CLI

• Ability to leverage AI tools for code generation and refactoring, unit test creation, API development and documentation, code review assistance, root cause analysis and troubleshooting, and performance optimization recommendations

• Strong understanding of responsible AI-assisted development practices, including validation of AI-generated code, security and compliance reviews, prompt engineering for software development, AI-assisted debugging and system analysis, and maintaining code quality, maintainability, and governance standards.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4+ years of hands-on experience in frontend software development, with expertise in building scalable enterprise web applications.
• Experience in Banking, Payments, FinTech, or high-volume transaction processing systems
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and cloud-native application development
• Contributions to engineering productivity initiatives, developer platforms, or AI-driven development practices will be highly valued
• Passionate about building scalable, high-performance frontend applications
• Strong ownership mindset with the ability to drive technical decisions
• Experience contributing to frontend architecture, coding standards, and engineering best practices
• Ability to mentor developers and conduct code reviews
• Strong focus on user experience, accessibility, reliability, and observability
• Continuous learner with awareness of emerging React and frontend ecosystem trends.
