Alamo Maxillofacial Surgical Associates is seeking a Front Office Supervisor to assist in oversight of the day-to-day functions of our OMS practice.
Essential Functions:
- Assist the Operations-Clinical Manager in management of all staff and processes.
- Assist in interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training of new employees
- Focus on positive morale and teambuilding among all teams
- Support administrative tasks and projects assigned by the Regional Operations Director.
- Work closely with the front office team to implement and support enhanced processes and measure efficiencies.
- Manage and present all treatment presentation to patients for recommended procedures.
- Work with the Revenue Cycle Management Team. Ensure Patient and Insurance AR is current through audits and account research.
- Familiarity with guidelines and navigating reimbursement rates and guidelines of insurance carriers.
- Work with existing vendor relationships to manage office equipment, utilities, software, IT, and facility repairs and updates
- Support staff in reaching daily, monthly, and bi-annual goals.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized workplace environment and updates in OSHA and HIPAA compliance.
- Support front office and admin staff with new protocols, trainings, quarterly meetings and updates.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Associates degree or higher, 3 years of management/supervisory experience, 3 years of dental or medical office leadership experience.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Must be detail oriented and possess the ability to work independently and manage time well.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent critical thinking skills.
- Honesty and Integrity.
- Displays leadership skills and behaviors that contribute to superior performance.
- Strong customer service, retail, sales, or dental experience (including knowledge of dental codes, terminology, procedures, and dental insurance).
*The ideal candidate will have worked in Oral Surgery or Dental prior. This position will work closely with the Clinical Manager to help maximize operations. Strong and well-balanced leadership skills are absolutely necessary.
