Job Description

Apple is seeking a talentedFront-End Developer with strong expertise inReact, JavaScript, and CSS to join a dynamic engineering team in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate will be passionate about building intuitive, high-performance user interfaces and delivering exceptional user experiences at scale.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive, high-quality web applications usingReact.js
• Write clean, efficient, and reusableJavaScript (ES6+) code
• Implement pixel-perfect, responsive UI designs usingCSS3, HTML5, and modern styling techniques
• Collaborate closely with designers, backend engineers, and product managers
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility
• Debug, test, and maintain code to ensure strong performance and reliability
• Follow Apple's best practices for code quality, security, and accessibility
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience withReact.js and component-based architecture
• Proficiency inJavaScript (ES6+)
• Solid knowledge ofCSS3, Flexbox, Grid, and responsive design
• Experience with HTML5 and modern front-end build tools
• Familiarity with REST APIs and integrating frontend with backend services
• Experience with version control systems (Git)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in large-scale, enterprise-level applications
• Familiarity with state management libraries (Redux, Context API, etc.)
• Knowledge of testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library)
• Exposure to performance optimization and accessibility standards (WCAG)
• Prior experience working with or for Apple or similar product-driven organizations is a plus
