About the role 

Basic Purpose:Createa strong sense of arrival for hotel,restaurant and banquet guests by welcoming them to the hotel and safely parking their car in the hotel garage. Assist Door Attendants by opening front door when not parking cars. Assure that guests’ departure is swift by retrieving guests’ carsin a timely manner. 

What you will do 

• Greet guests who arrive by opening their car door and welcoming them to the hotel, andassist in their arrival experience  

• Retrieve valet cars for guestsdeparting from the hotel,assisting with luggage, cardoor and their departure experience  

• Issueappropriate valet parking ticket to guests who want car parked 

• Assistguest with unloading luggage from the car, andsubsequently guide hotel guests to the Front Desk for Check-in  

• Offer services to transport luggage to the room and/or escortguest to their rooms 

• Explains parking rates and retrieval procedures to guests upon arrival 

• Greetand open hotel doors for allguests and local patrons arriving on foot 

• Station and hold hotel entrance doors forguest arriving anddeparting to and from the hotel  

• Assure the smooth flow of traffic on the drive by directing guest cars and taxis to theappropriate positions and directing valet parkers to park cars 

• Provideguest with directions, recommendations and information about the city and its attractions 

• Arrange taxis as needed forguest 

• Handle all guest interaction with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible 

• Resolve guest complaints, andassist guests in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, the local area, andin house events  

• Driveguest to their destination of choice within a3 mile radius as part of the Four Seasons Minneapolis House Car program  

• Maintain apleasant,friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, co-workers, and clients.  

• Complete andmaintain all ticket information including keytag, guestfolio, location of vehicle, damage survey and claim checkreceipt from all vehicles taken into the valet system. Consistently complete location on all key tags after parkingvehicle. Calculate and collect revenue for vehicles when needed 

• Comply with FourSeasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact.  

• Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers,supervisors and management.   

What you bring 

• Previous experience in Valet isrequired 

• A valid driver’s license and clean driving record 

• Ability to drive all types ofvehicles, including manual stick  

• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Ability to workoutside for majority of shift and be mobile/standing for 100% of shift 

• Abilitytopush and pullluggage carts withweight up to 200 pounds.  

• Ability to lift or carry luggage/ boxes up to 100 pounds 

• Musthave flexibility in availability to work according to businessvolume
