## About GovernGPT:We are YC backed, technical founders, and profitable with annual revenue from blue chip funds totalling over $2T. ## About the roleHonestly, this role is way overdue. The team is made up of two sales and 5 engineers. Basically, if it's not code and not sales, it's yours. Someone with high agency, organized that ensures a system runs smoothly. Someone who’s obsessed over details once the big picture makes sense. \\Then, you’d build systems around it. This role is far more execution focused than ideation focused. If taking a messy area, putting a clean process around it, and running it without ever missing a deadline gives you energy, keep reading.## In this role, you will* **Finance:** invoicing, collections, expenses, payroll and the monthly close with our accountant.* **Strategic projects:** we hand them to you, you own them end to end.* **Internal ops:** vendors, tools, office, plus customer contracts and billing logistics.* **Hiring:** postings, pipeline, offers, onboarding, benefits, equity grants. End to end.* **Legal & corporate:** contracts, NDAs, minute book, cap table, board resolutions. You're our point person with outside counsel.* **Systems:** trackers, processes and LLM automations. Build your own army of ops agents 🦸 (This would be cherry on top but not needed)## You are* **Hyper-organized.** Nothing falls through the cracks. Ever.* **Deadline-proof.** Nobody who's worked with you ever had to follow up.* **Process-obsessed.** You'd rather build a system once and run it perfectly than improvise every time.* **An owner and a team player.** You own your domains fully, and the team winning matters more to you than credit.## Who you'll work with and what we expectYou report directly to the CEO & CTO. Every day. Success is when none of the founders think about ops anymore. ## Your backgroundHere's who we picture:* A corporate or commercial lawyer who left to start or join a startup.* A founder who ran ops for their own startup.* An investment banking or consulting alum who moved into an operating role.You've worked somewhere with high standards, where mistakes had real consequences. And you've owned something yourself.Young, ambitious and talented is our company DNA. Bonus points if you know hedge funds, private equity or fund management.
