Founding Full Stack Engineer

We’re hiring a Founding Backend Engineer for a Dubai-based startup client that is helping to build the programmable gold infrastructure stack — everything from backend systems and blockchain integrations to beautiful, intuitive user-facing interfaces.

This is a high-impact, high-ownership role: you’ll work directly with the founders to design and ship core products used across DeFi, fintech, and institutional channels. What You’ll Do

• Own end-to-end product development across the stack — backend services, frontend interfaces, infra

• Build scalable APIs and backend services in TypeScript and Rust

• Design clean, performant UI in React / Next.js

• Maintain deployment pipelines, observability, and internal tools

• Integrate with third-party APIs: blockchains, custody providers, exchanges

• Contribute to architectural decisions across frontend and backend

• Write high-quality, maintainable, and well-tested code

• Work closely with users and the founding team to shape roadmap and product direction

• Explore the application of AI and blockchain to drive new product experiences
  

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who’s driven by a customer-first mindset, obsessed with product details, and committed to building impactful solutions.

Requirements:

• 3 – 6 years experience building production-grade full stack applications

• Strong with TypeScript, React/Next.js

• Experience working with backend systems and a desire to go deep into infra

• Bonus: some Rust or interest in learning quickly

• Strong grasp of system design, frontend architecture, and performance optimization

• Comfortable taking products from 0→1 with minimal supervision

• Startup-ready mindset: fast, curious, pragmatic, and outcome-driven

• Strong communicator who can work cross-functionally and think from a product lens

Nice-to-Have:

• Crypto-native (especially Solana) or DeFi project experience

• Built or contributed to open-source tools

• Fintech, payments, or financial infra background
  Experience with smart contracts or blockchain integrations
