About the Role
Join an early-stage AI/ML B2B SaaS company as its first Account Executive. You will build the sales motion from the ground up, partnering with the founder to move from founder-led selling to a repeatable process and take direct ownership of revenue generation.
What You'll Do
Generate pipeline through outbound prospecting and cold outreach without dedicated SDR support.
Identify and engage relevant prospects, starting substantive conversations that advance sales opportunities.
Manage deals through the full sales cycle, from discovery and qualification to negotiation and contract signature.
Work with the founder to define the ideal customer profile, target segments, outreach messaging, and sales playbook.
Close revenue and establish the foundations for a scalable sales process.
What We're Looking For
At least one year of experience in account executive, sales development, or enterprise sales roles.
Experience building and managing a pipeline through outbound prospecting, and closing deals from initial contact through signature.
B2B SaaS sales experience, with ownership of the full sales cycle and revenue targets.
Experience developing sales messaging or value propositions and identifying ideal customer profiles or target markets.
Comfort working in ambiguity, with strong ownership and accountability for outcomes.
Experience selling to technical or product-focused buyers, or familiarity with AI, machine learning, developer tools, early-stage startups, or founder-led sales, is valuable.
US work authorization is required.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: $80,000 to $120,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.
