Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Forward Deployed Engineer who can work directly with business stakeholders, product teams, architects, and engineering teams to solve complex business problems through technology. This role requires a strong blend of customer-facing consulting skills and hands-on engineering expertise across Angular, C#, AWS, PostgreSQL, and AI-assisted software development tools such as GitHub Copilot.
The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguous environments, can rapidly understand business processes, translate requirements into scalable solutions, and drive implementation from concept through production deployment. This is a highly visible e
role requiring frequent interaction with client stakeholders and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
Stakeholder Engagement & Solution Discovery
  • Work directly with business users and client stakeholders to understand operational challenges and requirements.
  • Translate business needs into technical solutions and implementation plans.
  • Conduct workshops, solution discussions, and requirement-gathering sessions.
  • Present technical recommendations and trade-offs to business and leadership teams.
Application Development
  • Design and develop enterprise applications using:
    • Angular
    • TypeScript
    • C#
    • ASP.NET Core
  • Build scalable APIs, integrations, and backend services.
  • Develop responsive and user-friendly interfaces for business applications.
Cloud & Platform Engineering
  • Design, deploy, and support cloud-native solutions on AWS.
  • Leverage services such as:
    • Lambda
    • API Gateway
    • ECS/Fargate
    • S3
    • RDS
    • SNS/SQS
    • CloudWatch
  • Participate in architecture reviews and cloud optimization initiatives.
Database Engineering
  • Design and maintain solutions utilizing PostgreSQL.
  • Develop optimized queries and database structures.
  • Ensure performance, scalability, and data integrity.
AI-Assisted Development
  • Utilize GitHub Copilot and approved AI tools to improve development productivity.
  • Generate code, unit tests, documentation, and troubleshooting recommendations using AI-assisted workflows.
  • Ensure all generated code follows enterprise security and quality standards.
Production Support & Continuous Improvement
  • Troubleshoot production issues across application, database, and cloud environments.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and incident resolution.
  • Drive improvements in application performance, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Support CI/CD and DevOps best practices.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5-10+ years of software engineering experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with:
    • Angular
    • TypeScript
    • C#
    • ASP.NET Core
    • AWS Cloud Services
    • PostgreSQL
  • Experience developing REST APIs and system integrations.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns.
  • Experience working directly with business users and stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to operate independently in client-facing environments.

  • Experience with Terraform or Infrastructure as Code.
  • AWS Certification preferred.
  • Experience mentoring developers and leading technical discussions.
The ideal candidate will:
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor to business stakeholders.
  • Independently Client and solve business problems.
  • Deliver solutions across frontend, backend, cloud, and database layers.
  • Drive adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices.
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Own solutions from discovery through deployment and production support.
