Occupational Health Manager - Marshall Health

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinates the day-to-day operational activities of Occupational Health services in collaboration with the Occupational Health Medical Director and MHN’s Senior Executive Leadership to align with organizational standards and strategic initiatives.
• Works closely with the Occupational Health Medical Director to support the delivery of safe, efficient, high-quality occupational health services and the effective operation of the program.
• Provides day-to-day operational guidance and support to Occupational Health staff, including onboarding, training, workflow coordination, performance expectations, and staff development.
• Monitors departmental expenses and budget activity and identifies opportunities to improve operational efficiency and resource utilization. And prepares corporate client proposals.
• Coordinates operational processes and workflows to support timely, professional, and consistent service delivery to corporate clients and patients.
• Works closely with the MHN’s Business Development Manager to support corporate client relationships, service needs, client communications, and the successful implementation of new or expanded occupational health services.
• Assists with responding to client service needs and operational concerns and coordinates appropriate follow-up with the Medical Director, Business Development Manager, Patient Navigators and other members of the team, as appropriate.
• Prepares operational components of corporate client proposals, including service descriptions, workflows, staffing requirements, pricing information, and other supporting materials, in collaboration with other team members. 
• Supports business development activities by providing operational information, service capabilities, proposal input, presentations, site visits, and other information needed to support existing and prospective corporate clients.
• Works collaboratively with Marshall Toxicology to coordinate toxicology testing services, workflows, reporting, client requirements, and operational issues related to Occupational Health services.

• Monitors operational, staffing, productivity, quality, service, and client-related metrics and provides updates to department leadership.
• Develops, implements, maintains, and evaluates policies, procedures, workflows, and other operational processes to promote consistency, efficiency, regulatory compliance, and quality service.
• Maintains working knowledge of applicable occupational health and regulatory requirements, including OSHA, HIPAA, CLIA, DOT, ODAPC, CDC, CMS, NHSN, workers’ compensation requirements, and other applicable standards.
• Assists with monitoring compliance with clinical, operational, documentation, safety, quality, and regulatory requirements and escalates concerns to the appropriate leadership.
• Collects, reviews, and assists with analyzing operational, financial, productivity, quality, and performance data to identify trends, address operational issues, and support continuous improvement.
• Participates in departmental meetings, process improvement initiatives, program development activities, and other projects designed to improve access, service delivery, client satisfaction, and operational effectiveness.
• Serves as an operational liaison among Occupational Health, the Medical Director, MHN Business Development, Marshall Toxicology, and other internal departments to facilitate effective communication and coordination of services.
