Job Summary
Join our Food & Nutrition Services team and help provide exceptional meal service to hospital patients. This role is responsible for assembling and delivering patient meal trays, supporting tray line operations, maintaining a clean and sanitary environment, and ensuring excellent customer service throughout the patient dining experience.

Qualifications
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and deliver patient meal trays accurately and efficiently.
- Stock and maintain tray line and meal service stations.
- Transport food carts and meal trays to patient care areas.
- Support tray line operations, including serving, building, and checking patient trays.
- Work in dish room and truck room operations, including loading and unloading dish machines.
- Clean, sanitize, and maintain food service equipment, carts, trays, and work areas.
- Monitor food quality, appearance, and temperatures, reporting any concerns to leadership.
- Restock supplies and rotate inventory using First In, First Out (FIFO) procedures.
- Sweep, mop, remove trash, and maintain a safe, clean work environment.
- Provide outstanding customer service while maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality.
- Follow all food safety, infection prevention, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Experience
- 2-3 years of food service experience required.
- Hospital, healthcare, cafeteria, restaurant, or institutional food service experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and temperature control standards.
- Ability to safely operate cleaning equipment and food service equipment.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and transport carts, trays, and supplies.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
