Food Runner

Wyndham Grand Jupiter is looking for aFood Runner to help create memorable dining experiences for our guests. This role supports multiple food and beverage outlets, including in-room dining, by delivering food promptly, taking guest orders over the phone, and ensuring each order is accurate and presented with care. The ideal candidate is a team player with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for exceptional hospitality.

Schedule: 

• Morning Shift (6am - 2pm) and Evening Shift (3pm - 11pm)
• Weekends and Holidays as needed
• Seasonal Employment

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver food orders to guests across multiple dining outlets, including in-room dining, ensuring timely service and proper presentation.

• Answer phone calls and accurately take in-room dining orders while providing friendly and professional guest service.

• Verify orders for accuracy and completeness before delivery.

• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and other team members to ensure smooth and efficient service.

• Respond to guest requests and questions promptly, ensuring a positive dining experience.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations, dining areas, and food delivery equipment.

• Assist with clearing tables, transporting dirty tableware, and restocking service supplies as needed.

• Follow food safety, sanitation, and service standards at all times.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of food service, restaurant, or customer service experience preferred.

• Positive, upbeat, and team-oriented attitude.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to take accurate orders over the phone.

• Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing excellent guest service.

• Ability to work flexible shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Comfortable with the physical demands of the role, including standing, walking, and carrying food trays.
