At Tesla, we're driven by our mission to accelerate the world's transition to sustainable energy. The Fleet & Supply Operations Team optimizes our vehicle allocations across EMEA, collaborating with local markets as problem solvers and on-the-ground support.
Join our Vehicle and Order Operations team within the Sales, Delivery & Service Organization for a dynamic 6-month internship. Reporting to the Fleet & Supply Management team, you'll support internal fleet management and supply allocation across EMEA. This role involves handling and reporting inbound in CMT, fulfilling requests from local teams, executing car assignments for Engineering, and keeping fleet operations visible and accurate. It's ideal for someone organized and responsive, comfortable juggling a live queue with longer fleet work in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with the fleet management team and internal stakeholders (e.g., sales, service, customer experience, logistics) to maintain visibility into fleet operations, including vehicle locations, conditions, and any required actions for improvements or reallocations
- Handle, complete, and report all inbound through the internal inbound management system (CMT) as well as fulfill internal requests from local teams through the main channels of communication, such as Microsoft Teams and the urgent channel
- Execute the assignment of cars for Engineering teams and work with the Used Cars team to integrate vehicle trade-in and resale processes, driving allocations to various teams (e.g., Service, Supercharging, Giga Berlin)
- Contribute to optimizing internal fleet management and supply allocation across EMEA
- Manage day-to-day operations, continuously improving processes, data structures, and inventory management (e.g., auditing pricing and maintaining market-specific vehicle assortments)
- Liaise with the service team for updates on insurance claims, vehicle repairs, and other needs
- Own ad-hoc projects, assist with periodic physical inventory audits, and introduce innovations to streamline workflows
What You’ll Bring
- Currently pursuing a study in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related)
- Strong data-driven and analytical skills with a problem-solving mindset
- Ability to juggle priorities, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and align multiple interests
- Diligent, dedicated, and customer-focused with a knack for process improvement
- Experience in sales is a plus
- Comfortable working in Microsoft Teams and internal tools, and able to take a request through to completion and reporting
