Position Title:Fiscal Specialist
Location: San Bernardino, CA, 92408
Duration:6 Months with possibility of extension
Work Schedule:Monday- Friday 8-4:30 (30 min lunch)
Pay rate: $26.44/ hr.

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

Functions Temporary Staff:

Mail Intake, Logging and Processing
Fee For Service (FFS) Claim Logging and Scanning
Verify Medi-Cal Status for unbilled and denied services
FFS Notices of Determination and Explanation of Benefits (EOB) to Provider
Data Entry
Triage and Assign Help Desk Tickets
Research Incoming Remittance Advice
Follow-up on outstanding other health coverage (OHC) payments
Work Entry Level Pre-Billing Reports
Administrative functions to support Education and Training internally and externally

Temporary Staffing Allocation Needs:

Work within all units to support the various functions listed above.

Experience in Healthcare Industry with knowledge in health care insurance and/or Med-Cal/Medicare billing or patient accounts/collections.
