- First-party property insurance experience is strongly preferred, although candidates with highly transferable litigation experience will also be considered.
- Over time, the firm would like this individual to develop professional relationships and potentially participate in business development as they grow within the organization.
- Manage first-party property insurance and related civil litigation matters.
- Develop and execute case strategy.
- Conduct and defend depositions.
- Manage written discovery and expert-related issues.
- Draft motions, briefs, pleadings, and other substantive legal filings.
- Prepare for and participate in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
- Collaborate with attorneys and firm leadership on complex matters.
- Maintain strong communication with clients.
- Provide high-quality legal analysis and strategic recommendations.
- Develop greater client and referral responsibilities over time.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
- Active California Bar license in good standing.

- Strong deposition, motion practice, discovery, negotiation, and trial preparation experience.
- Exceptional legal writing and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative team.
- Significant trial or first-chair experience.
- Experience handling complex or high-value property disputes.
- Demonstrated leadership potential.
- Interest in developing future referral or business-development capabilities.
- Additional state bar licenses.
