Mergon International currently have opportunities for aFirewall Operative to join our team at the Castlepollard plant in Co. Westmeath. This is a permanent full-time role.

As a Firewall, you will pert of the QA team, representing the customer at Mergon International.

Overview of responsibilities:

• Adhere to quality procedures and spcifications
• Use work instructions to ensure that product meets customer specification.
• Highlight non-adherence to quality procedures and specifications, to Chargehands & Ops. Leads.
• Ensure all issues identified are documented correctly and share results daily with the Quality Manager and or / Quality Engineer.
• Highlight with operators, all issues seen during firewall inspection.
• Conduct final quality inspection of non-medical product. 

KPI'S:

• Accuracy and consistency of quality inspections and evaluations.
• Timeliness in reporting quality issues and non-conformities.
• Daily firewall review meetings to be held with relevant personnel.

Desirable Background:

• Strong Interpersonal and attention to detail skills, ensuring accuracy and consistency of inspection.
• Experience handling and inspecting the non-medical product is desirable but not essential.
