We are currently supporting a client on a Direct Hire opportunity for a Fire Sprinkler Project Manager in Charlotte, NC.
Job Description
Responsible for estimating and managing fire sprinkler installation projects in commercial, residential, educational, healthcare and industrial facilities, positively representing the company in all client and architect/engineer interactions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Oversee and communicate project progression from inception to completion including design, permits, material delivery, labor schedules, and field installation.
Develop a comprehensive project plan to meet schedules and budgets.
Conduct work in Progress meetings.
Understand and follow all published codes, standards, and unique project specifications.
Coordinate change orders and drives toward overall margin improvement on every job.
Develop relationships with customers and partners to serve as point of contact.
Education & Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Â
Knowledge of NFPA, Underwriter’s requirements and applicable building codes preferred.
5 years of fire sprinkler and sales experience preferred.Â
Computer Skills: Microsoft Office, Word and Excel.
