The Role

The Financial Services Representative serves as a vital link between our patients and the financial and insurance aspects of their fertility care. You'll handle patient inquiries, streamline insurance verification and authorization processes, and provide financial counseling — all while enhancing the patient experience and ensuring full regulatory compliance. We're looking for someone who is detail-oriented, patient-focused, and ready to make a real difference.

What You'll Do

• Serve as the primary point of contact for patient inquiries related to insurance coverage and the financial aspects of infertility services.
• Educate patients on their financial responsibilities, including insurance benefits, coverage options, and available payment plans — both in person and over the phone.
• Prepare and distribute patient financial packets via EngagedMD, ensuring required signatures are obtained prior to treatment start.
• Proactively contact patients to collect procedure-related fees and verify financial clearance before treatment proceeds.
• Respond promptly and professionally to patient emails, phone calls, and IMS reminders.
• Perform daily data entry and maintain accurate records within the FSR tracking spreadsheet.
• Collaborate with Clinical, Checkout, and Front Desk teams to support accurate and timely collection of patient payments.
• Provide backup support for checkout processes, insurance authorizations, and related billing functions.
• Adhere strictly to HIPAA and confidentiality protocols, safeguarding patient information at all times.

What We're Looking For

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of experience in healthcare administration, insurance verification, authorizations, or financial counseling in a healthcare or fertility setting.
• Meticulous attention to detail across all tasks and documentation.
• Exceptional customer service abilities that foster positive patient interactions.
• Professional demeanor with a commitment to representing FSAC with integrity.

Schedule

This is a full-time position. 7:30am - 4:00pm hours follow a Monday–Friday day shift schedule, with rotating weekends and holidays as needed. The role is based on-site inThousand Oaks, CA.
