Financial Analyst

Hansen Talent Group is hiring a Financial Analyst to support a growing team in the West Columbia area! The ideal candidate will be able to work 100% onsite and has a background in financial reporting and compliance. 

The Financial Analyst will be responsible for preparing financial reports and providing analysis to the account managers and accounting teams as well as working closely with the compliance teams. 

Duties:

• Develop and analyze monthly and quarterly reports, reporting on money movement and account progress as well as changes in compliance requirements.
• Review journal entries and client books, reconciling accounts as necessary.
• Work closely with data entry teams to ensure information is accurate and reports provide useful insight for accounting and compliance activities.
• Define reporting requirements for client accounts and journal postings. 
• Research and manage federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations, ensuring accounting processes and book details meet compliance requirements.
• Assist in both internal and external audit activities. 

Qualifications: 

• Experience with AR/AP and reconciliations 
• Experience creating and managing financial reports
• Knowledge of GAAP and tax law
