We are looking for aFinance Specialistto join our fast paced and performance driven Payments team!

This role is part of the Payments Department and is integral in delivering financial accounting and reporting to the business in a timely manner. 

Responsibilities:

• Daily PSP Balances:Monitor and carry out Payment Service Provider (PSP) balances on a daily basis to ensure accurate fund tracking.
• Cash Flow Tracking:Managing real-time cash flow by compiling and analyzing payment data from multiple sources.
• Transaction Reconciliation: Perform daily reconciliations of financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Balance Monitoring:Track balances across PSP and Bank accounts.
  
• Costs & Revenue Validation: Reconcile gross vs net revenue impact of payments.
• Issue Resolution:Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
• Data Analysis: Analyze financial data sets to detect trends, anomalies, or inconsistencies, and provide actionable insights to improve reconciliation efficiency.
• Cross-functional Communication: Collaborate with internal teams (e.g. Payments, Risk, Finance) to gather necessary data and resolve issues promptly.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of workflows, operational procedures, and financial reporting guidelines.
  

Requirements:

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas, data validation).
• Experience with financial dashboards or reporting tools is an asset.
• Familiarity with PSP platforms is a plus.

Industry Experience:

• Previous experience in finance operations, payments, or back-office roles, preferably in the iGaming, fintech, or e-commerce industries.

Analytical Abilities:

• Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills; ability to work with large volumes of transactional data.
• Ability to spot patterns, inconsistencies, and financial anomalies and raise them for resolution.

Organizational Skills:

• Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities under pressure.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

Communication & Teamwork:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present financial insights clearly and confidently to stakeholders.
• Good communication skills in both verbal and written English language
• A strong team player, able to collaborate effectively across departments
