Position Summary
The Finance & Insurance Manager is responsible for coordinating vehicle financing, presenting aftermarket products and protection plans, building strong relationships with lending partners, and ensuring all transactions are completed accurately and in compliance with applicable laws and dealership policies.
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, a customer-focused sales professional, and an organized leader who can maximize dealership profitability while maintaining the highest standards of integrity and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Finance & Insurance Sales: Present and explain financing options, extended service contracts, GAP protection, maintenance plans, and other available products to customers.
- Lender Relationships: Work with banks, credit unions, and other lending institutions to secure competitive financing options and obtain timely credit approvals.
- Deal Structuring: Review credit applications, evaluate financing options, structure deals, and assist in securing approvals that meet customer needs and dealership objectives.
- Profitability: Achieve established F&I performance goals, including product penetration, finance reserve where permitted, and per-retail-unit profitability.
- Customer Experience: Deliver a transparent, professional, and efficient finance process while ensuring customers understand their contracts, payment obligations, and selected products.
- Compliance: Ensure all finance and insurance transactions comply with applicable federal and Ohio laws, lending requirements, privacy standards, and dealership policies.
- Documentation: Prepare, review, and submit accurate contracts, credit applications, disclosures, funding documents, and other required paperwork.
- Dealership Teamwork: Partner with the sales team, sales management, and accounting department to ensure smooth deal handoffs, accurate paperwork, and timely funding.
- Funding and Follow-Up: Monitor contract funding, resolve lender stipulations, and address outstanding documentation to minimize funding delays.
- Process Improvement: Stay current on lender programs, F&I products, industry trends, and compliance requirements.

- Previous automotive F&I management experience required.

- Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record, as required by dealership policy.
