Summary:
This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious, hard-working, and highly analytical Finance professional. The successful candidate will gain meaningful exposure to Finance senior leadership and will participate in the analysis, preparation, and presentation of key financial results, business recommendations, and project updates used by Caribbean and Central America leadership.
This role will support strategic Central America initiatives through financial planning, performance management, reporting, controls, and cross-functional partnership. In addition to core planning and analysis responsibilities, the candidate will lead and support project-based activities, including financial systems validations, reporting enhancements, process improvements, data-quality initiatives, and implementation of scalable financial tools and controls.
Responsibilities:
- Budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes for Central America-specific initiatives, ensuring comprehensive analysis of revenue streams, investments, and key drivers across countries and clients to support strategic business decisions.
- Monitor P&L performance for initiatives, proactively identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to maximize profitability and support business objectives.
- Prepare variance analyses, scenario modeling, sensitivity analyses, and risk assessments, clearly articulating key financial drivers and potential impacts on initiative performance.
- Develop and deliver executive-level presentations, dashboards, and communication materials that translate complex analytical findings into clear, compelling business narratives and recommendations.
- Lead and support project-based finance activities, including financial systems testing and validations, master-data reviews, model enhancements, report automation, reporting standardization, and system implementation or upgrade initiatives.
- Perform financial systems validations for planning, reporting, billing, and reconciliation processes, identifying data discrepancies, control gaps, system issues, and opportunities to improve data accuracy and reliability.
- Partner with Finance Technology, Controllership, Finance Operations, and business stakeholders to define reporting requirements, validate system outputs, conduct user acceptance testing, and support the implementation of new tools, processes, and functionality.
- Continuously enhance financial reports, dashboards, and analytics by improving data sources, automating recurring activities, streamlining processes, and delivering high-value insights to senior management.
- Establish and maintain clear documentation for financial processes, reporting logic, system validations, approved initiatives, assumptions, supporting materials, and results.
- Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency, consistency, and scalability of planning, reporting, and financial management processes across Central America and Caribbean initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- Five or more years of relevant financial planning, financial analysis, accounting, reporting, or finance business-partnering experience.
- Excellent business acumen and demonstrated ability to connect financial results to operational and strategic business decisions.
- Experience or exposure to multiple Latin American and Caribbean countries, business environments, and macroeconomic conditions.
- Demonstrated program or project leadership capabilities, including the ability to drive key financial processes, reporting improvements, systems validations, and cross-functional initiatives.
- Experience supporting financial systems implementations, upgrades, reporting enhancements, user acceptance testing, data validation, or process-improvement projects is strongly preferred.
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate results and recommendations to senior-level executives.
- Strong attention to detail and a keen sense of accuracy, particularly in financial reporting, systems validation, reconciliations, and data management.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Hyperion, Power BI, and PowerPoint.
- Exceptional financial modeling, reporting, and data-management skills, including the ability to work with large volumes of data and organize information in a logical and efficient manner.
- Knowledge of financial systems and planning tools, including TM1, Hyperion, or similar platforms.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and produce, coordinate, and deliver time-sensitive outputs.
- Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities.
- Excellent organization, prioritization, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
- Strong accounting, financial analysis, and analytical reasoning skills.
- Fluency in English and Spanish; Portuguese is a plus
Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $40.00 - $42.00 /hr. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
