File Clerk - Onsite

Genesis10 is currently seeking a File Clerk - Onsite position with a Regional Financial Institution located in Albany, NY. This is a 2+ month contract opportunity.

Pay range: $20.00 per hour

This is an administrative role focused on physical file management. The position requires organizing, boxing, and logging files according to retention policies, as well as preparing files for shredding or offsite storage. The ideal candidate must be highly organized, comfortable with repetitive tasks, and able to lift boxes up to 15 lbs.

Responsibilities:

• Search for and pull files off shelves according to a closed filing list
• Shred files past the required retention date
• Package and box closed files by year
• Label boxes with account numbers, closed dates, and destruction dates
• Empty shelving units for facilities maintenance
• Condense and reorganize remaining open account files on shelving by account number
• Prepare file boxes for shipment to offsite retention

Requirements:

• Experience with physical and digital filing systems
• Comfortable using Excel spreadsheets for logging and labeling
• Ability to lift boxes weighing 10-15 lbs
• Ability to stay focused and motivated during repetitive tasks
• Excellent organizational skills

Pay range: $20.00 per hour
