Field Technican (HVAC)

Position: Field Service Technician

Location: Baton Rouge, LA

Employment Type: Full-time, with potential for overtime and/or weekends

Responsibilities:

• Operate out of our Baton Rouge service center with daily local travel in a company vehicle

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on power generators, diesel engines, electrical distribution equipment, HVAC systems, and oil-free air compressors

• Troubleshoot equipment failures both in the shop and at customer locations, and execute necessary repairs

• Work independently or in collaboration with other technicians to set up and operate equipment at both shop and customer sites

• Opportunity for overtime, weekend work, and occasional travel as needed

Requirements:

• High School diploma/GED

• 4-6 years of experience working on industrial HVAC equipment, chillers, or in a chemical plant environment, conducting inspections, maintenance, and repairs

• Proficiency in calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements, as well as reading and interpreting schematics

• Ability to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical card based on customer requirements

• Capable of lifting or moving objects, typically weighing less than 50 lbs.

• Valid driver’s license
