Shift Options
1st Shift: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
2nd Shift: 4:00 PM–1:00 AM
We are seeking an L1 Field Support Technician to provide hands-on support during a technology rollout at a production facility.
Responsibilities
- Provide onsite Level 1 technical and end-user support.
- Assist users on the production floor during go-live.
- Support handheld scanners and related equipment.
- Troubleshoot basic hardware, software, connectivity, and access issues.
- Support quality, inventory, and shipping processes.
- Escalate complex issues appropriately.
- Document issues and resolutions.
- Follow all facility safety and PPE requirements.
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of IT support experience in Help Desk, Desktop Support, Field Support, or Technical Support.
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
- Comfortable working directly with end users.
- Ability to work independently and learn new systems quickly.
- Comfortable working in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Availability for the assigned shift and full contract duration.
- Reliable transportation to the Collins, Mississippi worksite.
Preferred Qualifications
- Onsite or field support experience.
- Manufacturing, warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience.
- Experience with handheld or barcode scanners.
- Experience supporting technology rollouts or go-live activities.
Work Environment
This role requires regular work on an active production floor. Scanners and required PPE will be provided onsite. Candidates must follow all safety requirements, including restrictions on footwear and jewelry.
The ideal candidate is dependable, customer-focused, and comfortable providing hands-on L1 support in a production environment.
