Job Title: Field Sales Representative

Location: Lagos

Key Responsibilities

Prospecting & Lead Generation:

Identify and research potential customers in a designated territory, using cold-calling, networking, and industry events to generate new leads.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience in B2B sales or as a sales representative, with a track record of meeting sales targets.

Client Meetings & Presentations:

Schedule and conduct face-to-face meetings with clients to understand their needs, demonstrate the features and benefits of plastic products, and present tailored solutions.

Sales & Negotiation:

Develop and execute sales strategies, present proposals and quotations, negotiate prices and terms, and close sales to achieve individual and team sales targets.

Account Management:

Manage a portfolio of existing customers, maintaining strong relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.

Market Awareness:

Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and product developments to maintain a competitive edge and identify growth opportunities.

Reporting:

Maintain accurate and detailed records of sales activities, customer information, and sales performance in a CRM system, and provide regular sales reports to management.

Collaboration:

Work with internal departments, such as marketing and customer support, to ensure customer satisfaction and seamless product delivery.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.

Ability to travel frequently within the assigned territory.

Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently.

Proficiency with CRM software and other sales tools.

Knowledge of the plastics industry, including different types of plastic and their applications, is a significant advantage.

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is often preferred.
