JOB PURPOSE
Carry out field inspections of utility excavation works across Riyadh Region on behalf of the Riyadh Infrastructure Projects Center (RIPC), verifying that sites are reinstated in line with approved checklists and specifications, and documenting findings through the digital inspection platform to support timely and accurate permit closure.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
â–ª Conduct daily field visits to completed utility excavation sites assigned through the inspection platform.
â–ª Inspect backfilling, asphalt reinstatement, surface restoration, kerbs, pavements and road markings against the approved RIPC checklist.
â–ª Take measurements (length, width, levels) and capture clear geo-tagged photos of every inspected item.
â–ª Record observations and non-conformities accurately in the mobile inspection application and submit reports on time.
â–ª Respond to reviewer comments and re-inspect sites when required.
â–ª Maintain the company vehicle, mobile device and measuring tools in good condition and follow the vehicle-use policy.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
â–ª Education: Diploma in Civil, Architectural, Surveying, Electrical, Mechanical or Quality Engineering Technology.
▪ Experience: 0–2 years; recent graduates (2025 onwards) are preferred.
â–ª Advantage: Co-op training or site exposure in construction, roads or infrastructure.
â–ª Licence: Valid Saudi driving licence (mandatory). SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
â–ª Technical: Basic knowledge of excavation, backfilling and asphalt works; reading drawings; use of measuring tools; smartphone apps and digital reporting.
â–ª Behavioral: Attention to detail, integrity, time discipline, teamwork and clear communication.
â–ª Languages: Arabic (fluent); basic English is an advantage.

PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
â–ª Number of inspections completed against the daily target.
▪ Report accuracy – percentage of reports accepted at first review.
â–ª On-time report submission and adherence to safety and vehicle policies.
WORKING CONDITIONS & TOOLS
Field-based role across Riyadh Region with outdoor work in varying weather. Mobile phone and SIM, uniform and measuring tools, plus on-the-job training on inspection standards and the digital reporting platform.
