Important Skills: |
Hands-on Network & Field Infrastructure Deployment β Experience installing/configuring switches, firewalls, wireless access points, network racks, and basic jobsite networks. They need someone who can arrive onsite and execute without significant technical oversight. Low-Voltage Cabling & Physical Technology Installation β Strong understanding of structured/LV cabling, rack builds, cable troubleshooting, TV/display mounting, and coordinating the physical installation components. They don't necessarily need to personally perform every cable run, but they need to understand the work well enough to oversee subcontractors. Independent Field Leadership & Customer/Contractor Coordination β Ability to act as the onsite technical lead, communicate directly with Ryan Companies, coordinate subcontractors, troubleshoot issues in real time, and keep deployments moving. For this role, I'd consider this just as important as the technical skills. IMPORTANT SOFT SKILLS: Problem-solver vs. that's not my jobβ mindset |

Certifications: |
None required. Relevant networking certifications such as CCNA could be a plus, but hands-on field deployment experience is more important than certifications for this role. |
