Our direct State client [undisclosed intentionally] is looking for a travelingFiber Optic TelecommunicationsSpecialistto join their team. Travel will be required to work at different State Government sites across Texas. Travel cost will be reimbursed by the client at state approved rates.
Candidates must be able to pass a CJIS background check, and reside in San Antonio, Texas or surrounding areas of the city.
Responsibilities:
Candidates should haveknowledge of design video, data, and voice communication systems. They may oversee the installation and maintenance of these systems, including their repair and testing. Performs complex network work and works under general supervision with moderate latitude. Proficient in conduit bending and installation.Must be able to understand fiber optic networking and fiber optic components.
