Position Details
Reporting to the Associate Director of CRM Operations, the Admissions CRM Operations Specialist serves as a key partner in supporting the administration, maintenance, and continued enhancement of the University of Tampa’s Slate instance. This position works closely with the Associate Director of CRM Operations and Enrollment Management stakeholders to improve processes, support users, maintain data integrity, and develop solutions that enhance recruitment, admissions, and enrollment operations.
Responsibilities
Slate Administration & CRM Operations
- Partner with the Associate Director of CRM Operations to support the administration, maintenance, and enhancement of the undergraduate Slate environment.
- Configure and maintain Slate functionality, including forms, portals, queries, workflows, rules, communications, datasets, and automation.
- Build and maintain queries, reports, and datasets to support enrollment operations and decision-making.
- Support data integrity initiatives through validation, auditing, troubleshooting, and process improvement efforts.
- Serve as a functional subject matter expert for Slate, providing guidance and support to Enrollment Management users.
Admissions Process & System Support
- Translate admissions and enrollment needs into effective CRM solutions that improve workflows and enhance the user experience.
- Support annual cycle preparation, including application updates, portal enhancements, communication updates, testing, and process documentation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies.
Data, Integrations & Troubleshooting
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to test and maintain integrations between Slate, Workday, and third-party systems.
- Troubleshoot system issues, data discrepancies, import/export challenges, and workflow or automation errors.
- Assist in monitoring system performance and recommending enhancements that support enrollment operations and user needs.
Communications, Training & Documentation
- Support the creation and maintenance of automated and ad hoc communications within Slate.
- Provide user support, training, and guidance to Slate users across Enrollment Management.
- Develop and maintain documentation, training materials, and user resources to support consistent business processes and best practices.
- Stay current on Slate functionality, releases, and best practices while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Participate in CRM Operations projects and perform additional duties as assigned by the Associate Director of CRM Operations.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 1-3 years of professional work experience with demonstrated proficiency in CRM systems, data management, business process, and project management
Preferred Qualifications:
- Slate experience, proficient with deliver, queries, workflows, and events
- Workday experience
