Transportation Operations Clerk

Schedule: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Contract Duration: 2 months
Pay Rate: $18.00 – $20.65 per hour

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Transportation Operations Clerk to support daily transportation and logistics operations. This position involves coordinating trailer assignments, maintaining accurate records, entering data, and assisting with daily operational reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Assign trailers to drivers and accurately enter assignment information into the system.

• Enter and maintain employee timecard information.

• Review trailer and volume forecasts to support daily operations.

• Maintain and update operational reports, records, and databases.

• Ensure accurate and timely data entry.

• Assist with administrative tasks to support efficient daily operations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.

• Strong data entry skills and attention to detail.

• Good organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment

• Position may require working outdoors in varying weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, rain, and snow.

• Appropriate clothing and weather-related attire are required when working outdoors.
