About the Role

Join our vibrant and growing full-service law firm as a Family/Matrimonial Law Attorney. This role is ideal for experienced attorneys with a strong background in matrimonial and family law, focusing on litigation and trial work. You will lead as the 1st chair in trials, manage a substantial caseload, and zealously represent clients in divorce, custody, child support, and other family matters in Supreme Court, Family Court, and concurrent matters.

• Lead 1st chair in trials with a focus on matrimonial cases.

• Prepare pleadings, motions, depositions, and appear in various courts in Queens, Nassau, and Suffolk.

• Direct cases through the litigation cycle, ensuring cost-effectiveness.

• Organize and track case status, overseeing attorney court appearances, calendars, and client interactions.

• Work in a fast-paced environment with a collaborative team.

What We Are Looking For In A Candidate

• Juris Doctor degree (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

• 15+ years of experience in Matrimonial law.

• Proven 1st chair trial experience.

• NY Bar admittance is required.

• Exceptional writing skills.

• Great organizational and multitasking abilities.

• Demonstrated flexibility and effective prioritization of work.

• Collaborative spirit with excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, court staff, and colleagues.

• Proficiency in MS Office and Outlook, & Litify a plus.
