Faculty Position (Open Rank) in Business Communication (August 2027)

LCC International University in Klaipėda, Lithuania, welcomes applications for a full-time faculty position, open rank, in Business Communication, supporting the Global Business and Communication program.
We seek a candidate with an active research agenda who will teach core courses in business communication — including organizational communication, professional and corporate communication, communication for management and content production — to students in the Global Business and Communication program; supervise senior thesis projects; develop social partnerships across Lithuania and the Baltic region; and participate in the active intellectual life of the campus. Load is 4/4 equivalent, with load time assigned for research.

The University

LCC International University is a fully accredited liberal arts university located in the port city of Klaipėda, Lithuania. Instruction is in English and the campus is residential. Our more than 500 students from divergent faith backgrounds come from nearly 60 countries for an education modelled on the North American liberal arts college with a Christian worldview.

Responsibilities

• Teach core and elective courses in business communication within the Global Business and Communication program.

• Foster the development of multi-modal communication subjects – including  theory and practice.

• Maintain an active program of research and scholarship, with publication expected in relevant peer-reviewed outlets.

• Supervise senior thesis projects in area of expertise.

• Develop and cultivate social partnerships with businesses, NGOs, and civic organizations across Lithuania and the Baltic region, creating internship, practicum, and applied research opportunities for students.

• Contribute to curriculum development and ongoing growth of the Global Business and Communication program.

• Mentor and advise students in the major.

Qualifications

• PhD in Business Communication, Organizational Communication, or a closely related field.

• Demonstrated record of scholarship required.

• Three years of undergraduate teaching experience preferred. Newly graduated PhDs will be considered.

• Experience building institutional or community partnerships preferred.

• Ability and willingness to adapt to a highly diverse international context.

• Commitment to student-centered teaching and learning from a Christian worldview.

• Monthly gross salary for 1.0 FTE from EUR 1800 to 2600 depending on rank, professional experience and academic qualifications.
