Facility Coordinator

Direct Report:Director of Operations 

Part-Time/Hourly Employee | Approx. 10 hours a week | Monday and Friday | Flexibility on time

I. Purpose of the Job:

To serve the vision of Highpoint Church in maintaining the facilities by representing respect and care in aspects of the building's operations. Support projects and/or events at the facility.

II. Experience and Knowledge Required:

A desire to grow and learn the operation of building maintenance.

Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, written, and organizational skills.

Projects a professional and confident image, able to handle a fast-paced environment.

Proficient in email. Must be willing to learn new programs as needed.

Must be able to handle the physical requirements of the job.

Experience with basic maintenance is desired.

III. Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Manage the facility's cleanliness.

Set up/tear down rooms for weekly activities held in the building.

Maintenance and repair of the facilities, including grounds care in summer and winter, are performed in collaboration with our lawn vendor.

Scheduling inspections and evaluating equipment on site, and repairing when necessary.

Stocking supplies.

Cleaning the building as needed in collaboration with the outside cleaning vendor.

Scheduling, preparing for, and attending all yearly inspections required for the building.

Attend to building emergencies as needed.

Traveling for supplies or other needs that may arise.

Other duties are assigned as needed by the Director of Operations.
