Sr. Manager - AI Transformation

Job Description

The Senior Manager – AI Transformation is responsible for leading firmwide communications, change management, training, and adoption initiatives that support the Firm’s AI, innovation, and technology transformation strategy.  Working closely with the Director of AI Transformation, this role translates strategic priorities into clear, engaging communications and practical change and learning programs designed to build AI literacy, organizational readiness, and sustained adoption of new tools and ways of working.

Serving as a key connector across the Firm, the Senior Manager partners with practice and business leadership and cross-functional teams to coordinate messaging, stakeholder engagement, training, and adoption efforts. The role requires strong strategic and editorial judgment, effective stakeholder management, and the ability to independently lead initiatives, measure effectiveness, and continuously refine the Firm’s approach to AI-enabled transformation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and execute communication plans and campaigns to support the firm’s AI, innovation, and technology transformation initiatives, including leadership messaging, product launches, and firmwide updates.
• Lead change management planning for AI and innovation projects, including stakeholder engagement, readiness assessments, and adoption measurement.
• Design and coordinate training programs and resources (live sessions, guides, videos, office hours) to build firmwide AI literacy and tool adoption.
• Own the editorial voice and creative execution of AI and innovation communications, ensuring messaging is clear, engaging, and consistent across channels.
• Partner with the Director, AI Transformation to translate strategic priorities into compelling internal narratives and multi-channel campaigns.
• Collaborate with Marketing & Business Development, HR/Talent, and Practice Solutions to align internal messaging with external positioning and firm culture.
• Measure and report on communication effectiveness and training adoption, using feedback to continuously refine approach.
• Serve as a mentor and thought partner to junior team members supporting AI transformation communications.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

• 7-10+ years of experience in internal communications, change management, or organizational development, preferably in a law firm, professional services, or partnership-driven organization.
• Exceptional writing and editorial skills, with a creative eye for storytelling and audience-appropriate tone.
• Demonstrated experience designing and leading change management and training programs for technology or process adoption.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills across all levels of an organization, including senior leadership.
• Ability to work independently and exercise sound editorial and strategic judgment.
• Experience with AI or technology-related change initiatives is a plus.

The expected salary range for this position is $200,000 - $230,000.  Final compensation will be determined based on several factors, including but not limited to, relevant experience, qualifications, skill set, and geographic location. Qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records will be considered for the position in accordance with the California Fair Chance Act.
