Export/Import Compliance Analyst

PGS Worldwide is seeking an Export/Import Compliance Analyst for a remote approximately six-month contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. This position will support global trade compliance activities involving export/import authorizations, regulatory document reviews, investigation files, disclosures, and compliance tracking. Candidates should be able to work Eastern Time hours; EST-based candidates are preferred.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree or a suitable combination of college coursework and relevant professional experience.
• Knowledge of the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
• Knowledge of the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
• Experience managing legal or regulatory tasks, files, records, and deadlines.
• Experience developing and maintaining effective tracking tools.
• Project-management experience related to legal matters, audits, assessments, investigations, or compliance activities.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage shifting priorities.
• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to exercise discretion and sound judgment when handling sensitive compliance matters.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.

Preferred Skills

• Experience drafting ITAR and EAR licenses or other export/import authorizations.
• Experience with OCR EASE global trade management software.

What You'll Do

• Prepare, submit, and administer required export and import authorizations.
• Coordinate export and import activities in accordance with company policies and U.S. Government regulations.
• Review documents for compliance with applicable export and import requirements.
• Support global trade personnel with compliance reviews and related activities.
• Maintain investigation files and supporting records.
• Track matters involving non-compliance, ad hoc compliance requests, and disclosures.
• Create and maintain tracking tools for compliance activities, deadlines, and documentation.
• Support audits, assessments, investigations, and other global trade projects.
• Perform additional compliance-related duties as assigned.

Work Schedule / Shift

• Fully remote.
• Candidates must be able to work Eastern Time hours.
• 9/80 schedule.
• Typical hours are approximately 8:00 AM–5:00 PM ET.
• Overtime may be required as business needs dictate.

Pay

• $46.49 per hour.
