WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Prepare accurate individual federal and state income tax returns.
- Interview clients thoroughly to understand their tax situations and identify applicable deductions and credits.
- Review supporting documents and resolve missing or inconsistent information.
- Explain tax results and available services clearly and professionally.
- Deliver friendly, attentive service that encourages clients to return and refer family and friends.
- Schedule appointments and follow up with new and returning clients.
- Work with your office team to manage appointments, serve walk-in clients, and meet tax-season goals.
- Protect confidential information and follow applicable tax preparation requirements and company procedures.

- Previous experience preparing individual income tax returns in a professional, paid setting.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state individual income taxes.
- Confidence using tax preparation software and learning new systems.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust with clients.
- Accuracy, attention to detail, and sound judgment.
- Dependability and the ability to stay organized during a busy tax season.
- A friendly, professional attitude and a commitment to excellent customer service.
- Availability for full-time seasonal work, including evenings and weekends, as required.
- Ability to meet applicable tax preparer registration and credential requirements.
