Experienced Sales Agronomist | Cuba City, WI

We’re looking for an experienced Sales Agronomist to join our team in Cuba City, Wisconsin. If you know agriculture, enjoy working directly with growers, and are ready for an opportunity where you can make an impact, this could be a great next step.

This position is about more than selling products. You’ll build trusted relationships with local producers, provide sound agronomic recommendations, and help customers make decisions that support the performance and profitability of their operations.

With a new, state-of-the-art facility in Cuba City, this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced agronomy professional who wants to help grow a strong customer base and be part of what we’re building for the future.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with growers
• Provide agronomic recommendations based on customer needs, field conditions, and production goals
• Sell and support crop nutrients, crop protection products, seed, and related agronomy services
• Work with customers to develop crop plans and make timely in-season recommendations
• Scout fields and help identify weed, insect, disease, fertility, and crop performance concerns
• Follow up with customers throughout the growing season
• Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and develop new customer relationships
• Coordinate with operations and application teams to help ensure excellent customer service
• Stay current on agronomic practices, products, technology, and industry trends
• Maintain accurate customer, sales, and field information
• Represent the company professionally within the local agricultural community

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

• Degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, Agribusiness, Agriculture, or a related field preferred, or equivalent industry experience
• Strong working knowledge of crop production, soil fertility, crop protection, and seed
• Proven ability to develop and maintain customer relationships
• Strong communication and sales skills
• Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team
• Understanding of the seasonal demands of production agriculture
• Comfortable working directly with producers in the field and on their farms
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout the local trade area
• Ability to obtain and maintain any licenses or certifications required for the position

CCA certification is a plus, but practical experience, agronomic knowledge, and strong grower relationships are highly valued.
